SISILV

Comprehensive Forest Signage and Inventory System

Cesefor

Department of the Environment, Housing, and Land Use Planning (Regional Government of Castile and León)

More accurate data, more efficient processes, and better-informed forest management

What is it and what is it used for?

SISILV is a digital ecosystem for the comprehensive management of forest surveys and inventories. It consists of a web platform for managers, a field app for data collection, and a workday tracking app. It enables users to plan work, capture georeferenced data, perform automated calculations, generate technical reports, and synchronize all information between the office and the field.

The problem it solves

SISILV addresses the reliance on manual processes in forest marking and inventory work, such as the use of paper forms, subsequent transcriptions, repetitive calculations, and manually prepared reports. SISILV digitizes and automates the entire workflow, improving efficiency, data quality, and process traceability.

"Digitizeforestry operations from start to finish to achieve more accurate data, more efficient processes, and better-informed forest management."

What makes it innovative?

Integrated Ecosystem

It integrates planning, fieldwork, dosimetric calculations, and report generation into a single platform.

Smart Inventories

It incorporates a calculation engine based on the methodologies of the National Forest Inventory (IFN4).

Voice and Artificial Intelligence

It includes voice-activated data entry and an artificial intelligence agent to assist users.

Expected impact

Reduce work time and transcription errors, improve the quality and traceability of forestry information, optimize decision-making, and facilitate the digitization of forest management processes.
