The Regional Ministry of the Environment, Housing, and Land Use Planning, through Order MAV/926/2025, launched an investment plan by awarding grants aimed at promoting the digitization and digital transformation of companies engaged in the primary processing of wood and other forest products. This capital injection is part of the RetechFOR project, a joint initiative of the autonomous communities of Castile and León and the Canary Islands, funded through the European Next Generation EU funds.
Of the total amount granted, 75% (€517,186.37) is funded by the European Union, while 25% (€172,395.46) comes from the Community of Castile and León using its own funds.
The call for proposals, which generated significant interest, received 54 applications, demonstrating the high quality of the projects submitted.
The resolution published in the BOCYL lists the projects that have received funding, ranging from the digitization of processes to the implementation of new technologies.
