The Regional Ministry of the Environment, Housing, and Land Use Planning, through Order MAV/927/2025, has awarded grants totaling 507,715.96 euros for startup entrepreneurship projects in the forestry sector within the autonomous community of Castile and León. (Award published in the Official Gazette of Castile and León No. 156, page 45).
This initiative, aimed at startups and innovative small businesses, is part of the RetechFOR project and contributes to Objective 252 of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan(PRTR), funded by the European Next Generation EU funds.
The funding is allocated over two fiscal years (2025–2026): €380,786.97 ( 75%) comes from European funding, and €126,928.99 ( 25%) is provided by the Community of Castile and León.
The goal of this initiative is to foster the development of startups in the forestry sector by promoting digitalization and the creation of innovative solutions.
Of the 10 applications submitted, 7 were ultimately awarded to the following companies and projects:

Entities must comply with the obligations and commitments set forth in the Grant Order, including the submission of expense reports and the transfer of the right to use the developed technological solutions to the Regional Ministry of the Environment, Housing, and Land Planning. The deadline for submitting the grant expense report is June 30, 2026.
