Application for the management of privately owned forests

Cesefor

Department of the Environment, Housing, and Land Use Planning (Regional Government of Castile and León)

All the information about your forests, in a “One-Stop Shop”

What is it and what is it used for?

It is a suite of services for private forest owners and managers in Castile and León, providing decision-making tools for forest management: users can access data on forest parcels (maps, stock levels, harvesting), estimate the profitability of reforestation projects, and seek technical advice from forestry associations.

In addition, it brings together information on financial assistance for landowners and communication with government agencies, as well as a tool for advertising and buying and selling forest products.

The problem it solves

Mipropiedad addresses the fragmentation and dispersion of information among private forest owners regarding the data needed for managing their forests and communicating with government agencies, by bringing them together on a single “one-stop shop” platform.

"Asingle platform that simplifies and standardizes the available information and tools for decision-making in the forest management of private forests in Castile and León."

What makes it innovative?

Connectivity, intelligent processing, and sovereign data sharing within a single data space

It serves as a one-stop shop by integrating administrative procedures, mapping, and silvicultural recommendations based on predictive models (Sisrep, climate change scenarios) into a single platform, in addition to integrating with existing systems (Continuous Forest Inventory, Fitoclim, Sigpac), thereby preventing the fragmentation of digital services for private forest management.

Expected impact

The initiative is expected to facilitate and streamline private forest management by improving access to reliable information (inventories, maps, silvicultural recommendations) and reducing manual communication processes with government agencies, thereby contributing to sustainable forest management and administrative efficiency.
