INFORCYL is the public platform of the Regional Government of Castile and León for providing citizens with live updates on wildfires: operational information and resources deployed, real-time location of the emergency, data on the area burned, multimedia content, and more…
The problem it solves
It provides the public with accurate and up-to-date information on ongoing emergency situations, helping them understand the true scope of the response efforts and preventing the spread of misinformation about affected locations or difficulties in understanding technical information.

What makes it innovative?
Resource Center for Journalists
New this year is a repository for journalists that centralizes multimedia material captured by members of the response team (e.g., aerial footage from helicopters), as well as statements and explanations of strategic decisions made during each fire.

Increase transparency in forest fire management and strengthen confidence in the response of firefighting services.
