The Regional Government of Castile and León presented on December 1, 2025 DATAGIA, the new Digital Agri-Food Platform developed as part of the RETECH-PAN, whose objective is to establish an interoperable environment of digital services for the agri-food, forestry, and rural sectors.
An interoperable digital framework for agroforestry management
RetechFOR’s participation in the DATAGIA presentation underscores the importance of having a common digital infrastructure, where agri-food, forestry, and emergency data can be integrated under a single framework of technical and semantic interoperability.
The development of these solutions will make it possible to:
- improve the quality and availability of spatial data,
- improve the ability to predict fires,
- facilitate evidence-based forest planning,
- and roll out new digital services for the public and private sectors.
DATAGIA and RetechFOR are establishing themselves as key players in the region’s digital transition, providing robust and scalable tools for the more efficient and secure management of Castilla y León’s natural resources.
