The Cinegética trade fair, held recently in Madrid from March 19 to 22 at the IFEMA exhibition center, has once again placed the hunting sector at the center of the debate on its future. At this event, which brought together public administrations and companies in the hunting sector, the Regional Government of Castile and León presented a booth dedicated to the Regional Hunting Reserves, with the participation of the Cesefor Foundation, which manages the auction portal for these reserves.

On the one hand, hunters will have access to a personalized dashboard where they can view their bids and awarded lots. On the other hand, landowners will have access to all their auction information in a structured, real-time format, which makes it easier to manage and track hunting operations.
The tool covers the entire auction cycle, from the publication of lots to their final award. Throughout this process, key tasks such as user notifications, deadline tracking, and payment management are automated, reducing the administrative burden and improving efficiency.

About RetechFOR
The RetechFOR project—the Technological and Territorial Network for Forest Monitoring and Environmental Disaster Mitigation as Levers for the Development of the Forest Bioeconomy—is one of the initiatives under the RETECH program (Territorial Networks for Technological Specialization), a tool launched by the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. RetechFOR is being developed by the Regional Government of Castile and León and the Government of the Canary Islands. This initiative is part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Next Generation EU funds. The project budget is 28.45 million euros, 75% of which is co-financed by the European Union and 25% by the autonomous communities of Castile and León and the Canary Islands.
RetechFOR aims to digitize and transform the forestry sector through the use of advanced technologies that enable the monitoring of the natural environment and the prevention of environmental disasters by improving forest management and fire prevention, while also strengthening the local economy and reducing the carbon footprint.
To address this transformation, a technology consortium is being established to oversee the implementation of the most significant digital developments and solutions, with a budget of 9,453,709 euros. This consortium, led by the Cesefor Foundation, also includes the technology centers ITCL, AIR INSTITUTE, CARTIF, ITAGRA, and CTME; the Universities of León (ULE) and Valladolid (UVa); and the companies LUCE and VEXIZA.
